My name is LaCondra B. Smith, and I am a retired educator from Bibb Public School System after 33 years of service.
I have lived in Macon all of my working life, and I am a proud member of Macedonia Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor, Eddie D.Smith Sr.
My service in education has given me first-hand experience in the issues facing our youth.
I have watched Cliffard Whitby operate in this community both as the Chairman of our Industrial Authority, bringing big industry into Macon-Bibb and providing jobs and revenue to our city.
I’ve also had the privilege of observing his leadership role as a family man and a devoted father. His impeccable persona and respect among his peers in our community make him the ideal candidate to become our next Mayor.
Our community is starving for competent, professional, and astute role models, and Cliffard Whitby is the perfect Model to lead this community. His multi-talented ability will be absolutely perfect to lead Macon-Bibb to the next level.
