ABOUT THE PRAYER TEAM

Welcome and thank you for signing up for the Whitby2020 Prayer Team. I am excited that you have joined us. Our purpose is to seek God first, for direction in our personal lives, for this mayoral campaign and beyond.

In doing so, we can expect to reap God’s favor, protection, provision, and divine promises. Our God has bigger and better plans for Macon-Bibb and you and I are a vital part of it. I pray that you will be blessed by our daily posts and share them with your family and friends.

In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:6)

Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. (1 Chronicles 16:11)

ABOUT OUR PRAYER TEAM LEAD

Firstly, I am a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and His message of love which is much needed in our world today. I am married to Cliffard Whitby, mayoral candidate for the 2020 Bibb County election and a mother of three young daughters. Our family is blessed with three older daughters and two grandsons as well.

As a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician, I have had the opportunity to share and learn with many facing challenging situations. When my husband and family were directly attacked on several fronts, it took my spiritual walk with God to another level. What I am certain of, God is loving and faithful. He is a deliverer and my family and I are stronger because of it. May you and I grow in Him daily.

Let us also continue to fight the GOOD fight knowing God is fighting for us to realize greater equality, opportunity, and prosperity for all of Macon-Bibb County and beyond.
