Who Is Dr. Whitby?
Dr. Shantel King-Whitby is originally a native of the Bahamas. She is married to Mr. Cliffard Whitby and together they have six daughters, 3 older and 3 younger.
She completed her undergraduate studies at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia and went on to do medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
Her training in the field of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Emory University prepared her to help patients with various illnesses regain or improve their function.
After returning to Macon, she served as the Medical Director at the Rehabilitation Hospital Navicent Health, formerly Central Georgia Rehabilitation, for 5 years.
Following that she entered private practice and continues to work as an independent rehabilitation practitioner.
